After losing 4-0 lead late, Braves rally in 10th for 5th win in last 6 games

MINNEAPOLIS -- Matt Olson drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning on Tuesday night as the Braves recovered from blowing a late four-run lead to beat the Twins, 8-6, at Target Field.

Michael Harris II hit a two-run homer for Atlanta, which has won five of its last six.

Trevor Larnach had three hits and three RBIs for Minnesota, which has lost seven of nine.

With the game tied 4-4, Marcell Ozuna led off the 10th against Twins closer Jhoan Duran (6-8) with a drive to right-center that center fielder Austin Martin couldn’t catch up to at the wall. Automatic runner Jarred Kelenic was tagging up on the play, so he only made it to third base on Ozuna’s double.

Olson followed with a chopper to second, and Kelenic slid home well ahead of second baseman Edouard Julien’s throw, which was too high for catcher Ryan Jeffers to attempt a tag.

The Braves tacked on three more runs from there, getting an RBI single from Travis d’Arnaud and a two-run double by Ramón Laureano.

The Twins scored twice in their half of the 10th, but Pierce Johnson struck out Matt Wallner with two runners on to end the game.
