Johnson named NL Player of the Week
Braves' closer converted all four save opportunities

Jim Johnson's recent return to vintage form has earned the Braves right-hander National League Player of the Week honors.
Johnson, a former All-Star closer, converted all four of his save opportunities last week, allowing just one hit and striking out five over four innings. He also walked two.

Johnson saved two two-run games against the Twins and converted two one-run saves against the Phillies.
The 33-year-old has dealt with injuries and ineffectiveness the past couple of years, but he now has a 3.99 ERA in 39 appearances for the Braves this season.
