BALTIMORE -- The scheduled American League East clash between the Blue Jays and Orioles on Tuesday night at Camden Yards was postponed due to inclement weather.

The game was rescheduled for July 29, when the division rivals will now play a traditional single-admission doubleheader in Baltimore beginning at 3:05 p.m. ET. The second game will start 30 minutes following the end of the first contest.

Fans who purchased tickets for Tuesday’s game will receive a credit on their My Orioles Tickets account, which can be used toward a ticket purchase for any remaining 2024 regular-season game. The credit will be available by 5 p.m. ET on Friday. More information can be found at orioles.com/weather.

Kyle Bradish, who had been scheduled to start Tuesday, will take the mound for the Orioles in Wednesday afternoon’s series finale at 12:35 p.m. ET. The 27-year-old right-hander will be making his third start since returning from a right UCL sprain after recording a 1.86 ERA in 9 2/3 innings over his first two outings.

The Blue Jays have not yet announced their updated pitching plans. Right-hander Chris Bassitt was scheduled to start Tuesday prior to the postponement, with lefty Yusei Kikuchi taking the mound for Wednesday’s finale.

The tarp was on the field at Camden Yards all of Tuesday afternoon, before the decision to postpone the game came roughly an hour before the scheduled 6:35 p.m. ET first pitch. Rain is expected to continue throughout the Baltimore area into Wednesday.

A postponement wasn’t the worst news for the Blue Jays, who notched a 3-2 win in Monday night’s series opener despite an illness that has been making its way through much of the team.

The Orioles will need to win Wednesday’s finale to avoid being swept for the first time in a multi-game regular-season set since May 13-15, 2022, at Detroit, a streak of 104 series. Baltimore has also either won or split its past 16 AL East series (12-0-4) dating back to April 2023.
