2 Tigers prospects named to Futures Game
DETROIT -- Right-hander Beau Burrows and lefty Jairo Labourt were selected on Thursday to represent the Tigers in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.
Burrows, 20, is Detroit's No. 3 prospect, according to MLBPipeline.com. He currently plays for Double-A Erie. The 2015 first-round Draft pick is 2-1 with a 5.21 ERA in four starts for the SeaWolves this year.

Labourt, 23, makes his second Futures Game appearance after representing the Blue Jays in 2015 in Cincinnati. He came to the Tigers as part of a blockbuster Trade Deadline deal in '15 that sent David Price to Toronto. In 18 games this season with Erie, he has a 2.30 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings. He is the No. 19 prospect in the Tigers' system.
The Futures Game, now in its 19th year, features young talent from all 30 teams. The Tigers are one of 16 teams with multiple representatives. Burrows, from Texas, is on the US team, while Labourt, from the Dominican Republic, will play for the World team.
The 2017 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game takes place on Sunday, July 9, at 4 p.m. ET at Marlins Park in Miami and can be viewed live on MLB Network and MLB.com.
