Rangers-Tribe PPD Tuesday; twin bill today
CLEVELAND -- Zach Plesac has joked that he always seems to bring the rain. On the night of his scheduled start Tuesday, inclement weather followed him once again, but this time it was too much for the Indians to play through.
The Indians-Rangers game at Progressive Field on Tuesday night was postponed and rescheduled as part of a traditional doubleheader Wednesday that will begin at 1:10 p.m. ET. All gates will open at noon ET.
Plesac’s outing has been pushed back until the first game on Wednesday and the Tribe plans to leave the second contest in the hands of their bullpen. The Rangers will start Ariel Jurado -- Tuesday’s original starter -- in the first contest, with right-hander Lance Lynn set to handle the second.
Fans holding tickets to the originally scheduled Wednesday game who want to attend both games of the doubleheader may do so and will have the same seat for both games. Fans holding tickets for Tuesday’s postponed game purchased through indians.com must exchange for tickets to one of two future dates (Sept. 3 vs. the White Sox or Sept. 17 vs. the Tigers) or Wednesday’s traditional doubleheader by first pitch. Fans are able to use the full value of their Tuesday tickets in their My Indians account when exchanging into the designated games (additional fees may apply). Tickets not exchanged for Wednesday's game must be exchanged for one of the two future dates by Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. ET.
Season-ticket holders can exchange for tickets to any game that is available through the My Tickets Exchange program starting Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
If you purchased your tickets through StubHub, they will be reaching out with further direction or you may contact them with questions.
