VIERA, Fla. -- The Astros finalized their travel roster for this weekend's exhibition games against the Padres in Mexico City. Among the regulars who will make the trip are second baseman Jose Altuve, shortstop Carlos Correa, infielder Marwin Gonzalez, third baseman Luis Valbuena and outfielders Preston Tucker and Jake Marisnick.
In all, the Astros will take 28 players to Mexico while the rest of the group stays back in Florida for split-squad games against the Marlins (Saturday in Kissimmee) and Tigers (Sunday in Lakeland). The team in Mexico will play the Padres at 8 p.m. CT Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
Minor League pitchers Chris Devenski and Brady Rodgers will start on the mound for the Astros.

The Padres and Astros will play at Fray Nano, the home of the Diablos Rojos del Mexico (Mexico City Red Devils). The Red Devils are owned by Alfredo Harp Helu, who is also part of the Padres' ownership group. Fray Nano Stadium has a 4,500-seat capacity, but underwent temporary expansion to accommodate roughly 8,000 fans for the Mexico City Series.
This will be the Astros' first trip to Mexico since a two-game set against the Marlins in 2004. Houston also played Spring Training games in Mexico in 2000 and '01.
