scored under unusual circumstances in the sixth inning of Houston's 4-2 victory over the Mariners on Monday.

Mariners shortstop delivered an accurate toss to home plate on what should have been a routine fielder's choice out ... except there was no one there to receive it.

With runners on first and third, knocked a grounder to short, which Moore cleanly fielded. But rather than receiving the throw at home, catcher vacated the plate and followed Gurriel down the first-base line to back up a potential throw to first.
