Angels prospects rake as Burlington scores 28
Adell, Marsh both belt grand slams, combine for 15 RBIs
Runs were overflowing Friday in Burlington, Iowa, as the Class A Bees, powered by top Angels prospects Jo Adell and Brandon Marsh, enjoyed a 28-7 victory over the Quad City River Bandits at Community Field.
Adell (Angels No. 2) and Marsh (No. 5) combined to go 6-for-11 with 15 RBIs and six runs scored from the second and third spots in the Bees' order. Marsh hit a two-run double in the fourth, followed by Adell's RBI double in the fifth. Adell, No. 62 on the Top 100 Prospects list, then hit a grand slam with one out in the sixth, followed by a two-out grand slam for Marsh in the eighth. Burlington plated eight first-inning runs to take control and followed up with five-run frames in the fifth, sixth and eighth.
