ST. PETERSBURG -- Albert Pujols answered a 36-minute power-outage delay with a 427-foot home run in the Angels' 5-3 win over the Rays at Tropicana Field on Thursday night, joining an exclusive list in the process.

The future Hall of Fame slugger gave the Angels a 5-0 lead with a two-run homer in the fifth inning of the series opener, marking his 200th home run as a member of the Halos.

According to STATS, LLC, Pujols is the sixth player to hit 200 home runs for two different teams in a career. He had 445 homers over his 11 years with the Cardinals, who will host the Angels at the end of the Halos' current 11-game road trip.

Pujols, who ranks sixth with 645 career home runs, also became the seventh player to hit 200 home runs in both the American and National Leagues.

"It feels like he is breaking records or setting new milestones every other day, so that shows you how great of a player he is," said Halos designated hitter Shohei Ohtani, who hit for the cycle in the victory, through an interpreter. "Another great thing I have learned from him is his work ethic, like how much work he puts in in the cage every day behind the scenes, and it really helps me."
