Adley Rutschman singled and scored in Double-A Bowie's win over Richmond on Friday. Rutschman went 1-for-3 with a walk, as he continues to put on solid performances for the Baysox. July 28: Home run No. 16
Rutschman continues to rake under the sun, as he ripped his seventh homer in just 13 day games on the season, compared to nine in 57 night games. Wednesday's long ball came off of Giants No. 11 prospect Sean Hjelle, a 6-foot-11 left-hander. Rutschman has feasted against southpaws this year, as well, entering Wednesday's game with a .383/.513/.767 slash line for an OPS of 1.280 against lefties. July 27: Scores twice and reaches three times in win
It was déjà vu for Adley Rutschman on Tuesday, as the No. 2 ranked prospect in baseball reached three times for the second game in a row. The 24-year-old catcher came around to score twice for Double-A Bowie as well, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a hit-by-pitch. Adley Rutschman singled and walked twice during Sunday's loss for Double-A Bowie. The two walks give him 51 for the year, which is the most among all qualified players in the Double-A Northeast League. July 24: Slams game-tying two-run homer in ninth
More like Adley Clutch-man, am I right? Adley Rutschman sent a game-tying two-run home run deep into the night sky with one out in the bottom of the ninth, his 15th homer of the year. Double-A Bowie went on the win the ballgame five batters later thanks to his late-inning heroics. Rutschman went 2-for-4 on the day, adding another extra-base hit in the form of a double to his homer. He also drew a walk. Adley Rutschman drove in two runners on a seventh-inning double, as the No. 2 ranked prospect in baseball reached base three times in Double-A Bowie's win over Hartford. After an explosive showing on Wednesday night, Adley Rutschman had a much more tame performance for Double-A Bowie on Thursday. Rutschman went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the Baysox's win over Hartford. Rutschman also caught and helped guide four Bowie pitchers to a 15-strikeout combined shutout. July 21: A career night
Adley Rutschman showed why he is the No. 2 ranked prospect in all of baseball, hitting one home run from the right side of the plate and another from the left side. Wednesday's showing marked the first multihomer game of Rutschman's career, as he drove in a career-high seven runs in Bowie's 20-7 rout of Hartford.

"I've been working on my swing and my approach at the plate, and I was just able to get good pitches to hit and put good swings on those pitches to be able to drive them. July 13: Hitless in showdown with Spencer Torkelson
Adley Rutschman, the No. 1 pick in the 2019 Draft, did not record a hit in Double-A Bowie's opener against 2020 No. 1 pick Spencer Torkelson and Erie. Rutschman went 0-for-4, but Torkelson also went hitless (0-for-3). Rutschman will have another opportunity against Torkelson on Wednesday night. Gameday »

July 11: Participates in 2021 Futures Game at All-Star Weekend
Adley Rutschman was selected to the American League team for the Futures Game at Coors Field on July 11. He drew a walk and flied out in the contest. For Rutschman, the game was an opportunity to get to know fellow Minor Leaguers and add another key moment to his young professional resume.

“I think just looking at this weekend as an opportunity is the most important thing coming into it and just trying to enjoy the moment,” Rutschman said. “You hear so many people talk about never taking anything for granted, and so I just try to do that as much as I can.”

July 9: Hits go-ahead homer in Game 2 of doubleheader
Adley Rutschman ensured that Double-A Bowie took home at least one win from their doubleheader with Richmond Friday, launching a go-ahead solo homer in the fifth of the seven-inning Game 2. Before the homer, Rutschman was 0-for-5 on the day after going hitless in the first leg and was 0-for-2 in the second. It was his 12th homer of the season, tied for sixth in the Double-A Northeast. July 7: Tallies second straight two-hit game
Adley Rutschman has officially rebounded from his small slump, posting another multi-hit game as part of a 2-for-3 performance which also featured a run scored and two walks. July 6: Breaks slump with two-hit night
All Adley Rutschman needed to break his brief two-game slump was a day off, as Baltimore's top prospect slapped a single and drove in a run with a double for Double-A Bowie on Tuesday. Rutschman went 2-for-4 on the night, adding a walk and a run scored to his two hits. Behind the plate, Rutschman called a solid game as well. Adley Rutschman went hitless for the second night in a row, going 0-for-4 in Double-A Bowie's win over Akron. Rutschman did manage to reach base though via a hit-by-pitch in the first inning. July 2: Drives in three with two doubles
Adley Rutschman didn't stay cold for long, as Baltimore's top prospect slapped two doubles and drove in three runs in Double-A Bowie's 7-6 loss to Akron. Rutschman drove in a run on a third-inning two-bagger then outdid himself with a two-run double in the seventh. He went 2-for-5 with a run scored. He also stole his first base of the year and the second of his professional career.
