2014 All-Star Game media credential application now available

Online Forms Are Due By Tuesday, June 17th; Special Media Hotel Rates Available

The media credential application for the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, to be held at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Tuesday, July 15th is now available at http://Credentials.MLB.com. These credentials will provide access to the game and accompanying All-Star Summer festivities.

The online form will be the only acceptable application for 2014 All-Star Game media credentials, as no other application or request will be processed. Applications must be completed by the Sports Editor or Sports Director and must be received by Major League Baseball no later than Tuesday, June 17th.

All completed applications must include a 1" x 1" hi-resolution photo (JPEG format) of each applicant. Images must resemble a passport photo.

Every media member who has used the MLB Club Credentialing system to apply for a jewel event or a regular season game in the past has access to the application by signing in with your e-mail address. If you have forgotten your password, you can obtain a new one by clicking the "Forgot Password" option on the credential homepage.

Media outlets that have not previously applied online for MLB credentials must contact the MLB Public Relations Department at (212) 931-7621 or via e-mail at credentials@mlb.com in order to obtain an affiliate identification number for your organization.

The media hotel that MLB will utilize for this event is the Minneapolis Marriott City Center located at 30 S. 7th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402. The special All-Star media rate is $240 per night.
