The big bats were on display in Games 1 and 2, as Tampa Bay blanked Texas, 9-0, in Game 1 before the Rangers pulled out an 8-6 victory in Game 2. Two 4-3 victories in Games 3 and 4 sealed it for Texas.

Matt Moore made two appearances for the Rays (including the Game 1 victory), allowing just one run over 10 innings. Neftali Feliz had three saves for the Rangers, who also got three homers and four RBIs from Adrian Beltre.

Desmond Jennings led the Rays with five hits, three runs, two homers and one double.
