2011 ALCS recap
Rangers defeat Tigers, 4 games to 2
Series MVP Nelson Cruz was a one-man wrecking crew in this series, driving in a whopping 13 runs (the Rangers scored 39 in six games, including 15 in the Game 6 clincher) and homering in each game except Game 3. Cruz set the record for the most home runs and RBIs in a single postseason series.
Alexi Ogando, Neftali Feliz and Mike Adams were outstanding in the back end of Texas' bullpen, combining for 13 appearances (16 1/3 innings), three wins, one save, two runs and 17 strikeouts.
Ramon Santiago was an unlikely offensive sparkplug for Detroit, turning in a series-high nine hits. Miguel Cabrera had eight knocks, including three home runs.
