Meet the Nationals Executive Chef, Tim Jones
Tim Jones’s culinary career began early in his life, inspired by his mother’s love of food and cooking. He attended one of New York City’s only culinary arts high schools. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America at age 20, Jones culinary repertoire flourished during an internship under Chef Michael Lomonaco at The 21 Club, where he developed and refined his skills and techniques.
Jones was the youngest-ever Banquet Chef at New York City’s famed 5-Star, 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Hotel. His career and experience for serving large groups and events grew as he served as Executive Sous Chef of The Regent of Wall Street, and as Executive Chef for Hilton and Hyatt hotels. Jones also served as Executive Chef at two large Midwest casinos, and oversaw the University of Nebraska Medical Center kitchens.
Chef Jones is excited to bring his talents and passion for food to the Washington Nationals and Nats Park.
