To carve your pumpkin, use a pumpkin carving kit from your local grocery store or use the following common household tools:

• Spoon
• Paring knife
• Serrated knife
• Pin, nail or toothpick

Carving Your Pumpkin

After you have removed the seeds from your pumpkin, follow these three easy steps:

1. Tape the stencil to your pumpkin.
2. Using a pin, nail or toothpick, punch holes following the lines of the stencil. Remove the stencil when finished.
3. Have an adult help you cut along the dotted lines you have made with the pin, nail or toothpick.
