Spartanburg, SC 29306

The Rangers' new High-A affiliate comes from Kinston, N.C., where the team was the Single-A Down East Wood Ducks. Professional baseball in the Hub City dates back to the early 20th century, but the Spartanburgers are Spartanburg's first Minor League club since 1994. The Cubs' Double-A affiliate celebrates both a homecoming and the dawn of a new era. Having begun as the Knoxville Smokies in 1993 and then moving to nearby Kodak and taking the name of "Tennessee Smokies" before the 2000 season, the team returns to its city of origin and original moniker. The Ballpark at America First Square -- Salt Lake Bees (Triple-A LAA)

Complete Ballpark Guide »

11131 S. Ballpark Way
South Jordan, Utah 84009

The Bees are moving about a dozen yards south, as the club opens a new yard in a rapidly growing community. Inside the stadium, fans will find an atmosphere that's shiny and new, but also filled with old-fashioned Minor League fun. The park's brick-and-glass sleekness is a perfect complement to the open, airy layout with deep alleys (385 feet) in the outfield. Salt Lake's previous digs of Smith's Ballpark was beloved for its views of the Wasatch Mountains, and The Ballpark at America First Square offers fresh vantages of that same range.
