Players & Coaches Philanthropy

The generous philanthropy of our manager, players, and Better Halves enable us to support our youth and give back to the community. Our managers and players continue to support our wellness, empowerment, and youth baseball and softball programs with their time, talent, and treasure.

Better Halves

The Marlins Better Halves team up on community service projects throughout the season. This 2021 season, Better Halves partnered with the Family Resource Center of South Florida, which provides services that help prevent and treat child abuse and neglect through strengthening families. The Better Halves provided 28 girls with a new back-to-school outfit for the first day of school.

In the past, Better Halves have hosted a Basket Auction, which featured baseball memorabilia and items unique to the hobbies and personalities of their significant others. Proceeds from previous auctions have benefited Alex's Place at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami.
