Safeco Field Open House Monday, March 31
Food and beer specials, Mariners vs. Angels at Anaheim on MarinersVision HD screen $1 admission to benefit Northwest Harvest
Seattle Mariners fans are invited to come out to Safeco Field on Monday, March 31, to watch the Mariners take on the Los Angeles Angels live from Anaheim in the road opener for the 2014 season.
During the Safeco Field Open House, there will be live music in The 'Pen. Fans are invited to walk around the warning track. The ROOT SPORTS broadcast of the game will be carried live in HD on MarinersVision. All fans through the gates will receive a free "True to the Blue" T-shirt.
- Adults, $1 admission (with all proceeds benefitting Northwest Harvest)
- Kids 14 and under are free, but still require a ticket for admission (available online, at Team Stores, Safeco Field ticket office, by phone and at Ticketmaster Ticket Centers)
- Ballpark gates open at 5:30pm. First pitch in Anaheim 7:05pm
- $5 pizza, hot dogs and beer specials at concession stands on Main Concourse and The 'Pen
- Free "True to the Blue" T-shirts at the gate
- Safeco Field parking garage is reserved for Mariners season ticket holders.
Open House Tickets
Open House tickets will be available to all fans beginning Saturday, March 8, when single game tickets for the 2014 season go on sale. They will be available at the Safeco Field ticket office, all Mariners Team Stores, mariners.com, and by calling 1-888-SEA-HITS. Open House tickets will also be available at the Safeco Field ticket office on the night of the event.
Enhanced Security
In conjunction with Major League Baseball's initiative for increased ballpark security, the Mariners will be screening fans with metal detectors at the entrances to Safeco Field. Fans should give themselves a little extra time to remove car keys and cell phones from pockets before going through the gates. All bags will continue to be subject to search outside the gates.
2014 Single-Game Tickets on Sale March 8
Single-game tickets for the 2014 season will be available to registered users during a special online-only presale starting at 10am on Thursday, March 6. Deadline to register for the presale is midnight tonight (Monday).
Tickets will be available to all fans starting at 10am on Saturday, March 8, at the Safeco Field box office, Seattle Mariners Team Stores (Bellevue Square, Southcenter Mall, Alderwood Mall, and at 4th and Stewart in downtown Seattle), online at mariners.com/tickets, at Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, or by calling 1-888-SEA-HITS.
