Pride Month

The Cleveland Guardians are excited to celebrate and honor Pride Month! Throughout June, the Cleveland Guardians will be participating in local Pride Month festivities to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community in Cleveland. The celebration will include our annual Pride Celebration presented by Nestlé at Progressive Field on Friday, June 21.

As part of our ongoing efforts to become a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization, the Guardians will also be working in partnership with local community organizations to provide learning and education to our staff and teammates throughout the entire year. While we seek to uplift the voices and experience of our LGBTQ+ community 365-days a year, we know that flagship events like Pride allow us to intentionally spotlight the collective stories of hope, struggle, and opportunity that make our city and team better.

Game-Day Events & Special Ticket Package

Friday, June 21 – Pride Night Celebration presented by Nestlé

Join the Guardians for a night of educational and inclusive experiences celebrating all fans.

  • Pre-game Block Party featuring DJ Bunz of Twist Social Club in the Right Field District
  • 2nd annual Pride Community Resource Fair (5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

  • National Anthem by Christina Ciofani representing Near West Theatre
  • Ceremonial First Pitches from Molly Kearney of Saturday Night Live and Callie Brownson of the Cleveland Browns

Fans can purchase a Special Ticket Package for the June 21 contest and receive a limited-edition Guardians Pride flag and participate in a pregame Pride parade around the warning track. CLE Inspires

Cleveland Guardians social platform, CLE Inspires, will highlight different Pride initiatives throughout the month of June. CLE Inspires will focus on the work done by our community partners.

Additionally, CLE Inspires will share highlights from the Cleveland Guardians Pride Night celebration on Friday, June 21.

Community Events

Saturday, June 1 – Pride in the CLE
The Guardians are a proud partner of Pride in the CLE. Members of the Guardians front office will be marching in solidarity with the LGBT community center and members of the community in the annual parade. The Guardians will also be at the Pride in the CLE Festival with giveaways and prizes!

Saturday, June 8 – Pride Fest (Brecksville -Broadview Heights)
The Guardians are a proud partner of the 2nd annual Pride Fest hosted by the city of Brecksville-Broadview Heights. Get ready for an exciting lineup of live music, food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, games, and entertainment that will make this yet another memorable event! Members of the Guardians front office will be at the events with giveaways and prizes!

    Since 1975, The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland has been serving the needs of the LGBT+ community in Northeastern Ohio. The mission of the center is to enrich the lives of the diverse LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, support, education and celebration.

  • Athlete Ally
    Athlete Ally believes that everyone should have equal access, opportunity, and experience in sports — regardless of your sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Their mission is to end homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQI+ equality. We are an organized group of citizens who live and/or work in Brecksville / Broadview Heights. Comprised of LGBTQ+ persons and allies, we are actively working to create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment for the LGBTQ+ community.
