Made Arizona's Opening Day roster for the first time
after being September call-up in each of the previous two

games... Made 19 starts through June 15... Split the remainder
of the season between ARI and Tucson... Was recalled
for the final time on Aug. 24... Made 21 appearances
at first base for Tucson.
2001 POST-SEASON: Started Game 5 of the World Series,
Nov. 1 at Yankee Stadium, after Damian Miller was
scratched from the lineup with a right calf strain... Went
2-for-5, HR and threw out Alfonso Soriano attempting to
steal 2nd base in the 3rd inning.

Spent the entire season with Tucson and led the
team in HR (13) and RBI (75)... Was recalled in September
and appeared in five games (three starts)...Homered in his

Played the entire season at El Paso (AA) and finished
with the 3rd-best batting average among all minor league
catchers (.318)... Hit two HR, May 29 vs. Tulsa...Had his
contract purchased on Sept. 18... Made his Major League
debut on Sept. 25 at SF (started at C)...Collected his 1st ML
hit, Sept. 27 vs. COL (Brian Bohanon) and slugged his 1st
HR, Oct. 3 vs. SD (Heath Murray).
1998
Led the ARI organization in HR (23) with High Desert
(A)... Belted three HR, Apr. 7 vs. Lancaster, beginning a
stretch of six HR in six games to earn him California League
