Spent the season at Single-A Fort Wayne, hitting .329 (151-for-459) with 30 doubles, 13HR, 73RBI and 30SB in 125 games ... ranked fifth in the Midwest League with a .402 on-base percentage and was sixth with his .329 batting average ... had 19-game hitting streak from 6/25-7/15, batting .450 (36-for-80) with 11RBI during stretch which included 12 multi-hit games...hit .370 in the month of July.

2000

In his first professional season, batted .358 (72-for-201) with 2HR and 36RBI with Pioneer-League-Champion Idaho Falls ... ranked fourth in the league with his .358 average and a .474 on-base percentage ... drove in a minor-league career-high six runs and was 3-for-7 on 8/5 at Butte.
