In 2021, Ildemaro appeared in 34 major league games with three organizations (Chicago, Pittsburgh, Arizona), combining to hit .156 (12-for-77) with three doubles, one triple and seven RBI... Began the season in the Cubs organization as a non-roster invitee to major league Spring Training ... hit .324 (11-for-34) with one homer and five RBI in 17 Spring Training games... Had his contract selected from Triple-A Iowa May 4, and played nine games for the Cubs before being designated for assignment May 15 and claimed off waivers by the Pirates May 17... Went 1-for-13 (.077) over seven games with the Pirates, before he was traded to Arizona June 2, for cash considerations... Split the remainder of the season between the Diamondbacks (18 games) and Triple-A Reno (57 games)...
