Enny Manuel Romero...he and wife, Miguelina, have one son, Enny Manuel (9)…enjoys playing dominoes with his dad Modesto...stepfather, Narciso Medina, helped teach Enny baseball growing up...now, Enny helps Narciso with youth baseball camps in the Dominican during the offseason...in 2013, went home to the Dominican following the end of Tampa Bay’s Triple-A postseason...on Sept. 21, following an 18-inning Rays victory, in which the club tied a Major League record at the time by using 11 pitchers, Enny tweeted, “I could come and pitch tomorrow :-) #Rays”...got a phone call the next day telling him he would be making his Major League debut in a start the next day...he played catch with his brother for 10 minutes before heading to the airport...the next day, allowed just one hit (Manny Machado) to lead off the game and issued four walks across 4.2 innings against Baltimore...his strong debut helped keep the Rays 0.5 games ahead of Cleveland in the AL Wild Card race.
