Dickerson began the 2019 season with the Pittsburgh Pirates before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies on July 31...Played 78 games, 44 with Pittsburgh and 34 with Philadelphia Hit .315 with 18 doubles, four home runs, and 25 RBI for the Pirates and .293 with 10 doubles, right homers and 34 RBI for the Phillies...Missed two months with Pittsburgh with a posterior right shoulder strain. Season ended with Philadelphia after he fractured his foot on September 17.

Began the season at Triple-A, his first stint at the level, and hit .371 (117-for-315) with 21 doubles, 14 triples, 11 home runs, 50 RBI and 60 runs in 75 games...he led the Pacific Coast League in slugging (.632) and was a Post-Season member of the PCL All-Star team...
