Father, Raúl, was the NL Rookie of the Year in 1994, a 2-time Gold Glove Award winner in the OF (1995, ‘97) and 1-time NL All-Star (1995)...Also finished 15th in NL Most Valuable Player voting in 1995 with LAD. Father, Raúl, was also the mayor of San Cristobal in the Dominican Republic for a six-year term from 2010-16. Older brother, Raúl Jr., was an outfielder in the MIL (2010-12) and TB (2012-14) organizations. Younger brother, Paul, was a catcher and 1st baseman in the KC organization (2016-21)...Played independent ball for Empire State and York in 2022.
