Split the season between El Paso (AAA) and San Diego, making his MLB debut on 6/11 vs. KC and becoming the first player selected by the Padres in the 2015 Draft to make the big leagues... At the time of his call-up to the big league squad on 6/11, he ranked tied for the Pacific Coast League lead with 13 saves in 13 opportunities and pitched to a 2.84 ERA (8 ER, 25.1 IP) with 31 SO against nine BB…did not allow a run over his final nine appearances and 10.1 IP for the Chihuahuas... Tossed a perfect eighth inning against the heart of the Royals' order on 6/11 in the seven-pitch big league debut... Began his ML career with an 8.1-scoreless inning streak in his first 10 relief appearances from 6/11-30 with 11 SO against no walks and limiting opposing hitters to .167 overage... During the scoreless streak, earned his first ML save on 6/17 at MIL and his first ML win on 6/21 at CHC...
