2023

Made 51 appearances overall and 42 starts at catcher for the Giants, Dodgers and Rockies...Began the season with the Giants' Class AAA Sacramento affiliate...Was promoted on 4/8 and appeared in one game for SF, on 4/9 vs KC, before he was designated for assignment on 4/10...elected free agency four days later...On 4/16 was signed by the Dodgers and from 4/17-4/26 made his five appearances for LAD before he was designated for assignment on 5/1...On 5/4 was claimed off waivers by the Rockies and spent the rest of the season on their roster...Became a free agent following the season and on 12/14 was signed by the Reds to a one-year contract through the 2024 season...Was designated for assignment on 1/2/24, when the Reds signed free agent RHP Frankie Montas...On 1/4/24 cleared waivers and accepted an outright to Louisville with an invitation to 2024 Major League Spring Training camp.

2022

Was acquired by the Giants on June 8 from Philadelphia in exchange for Minor League LHP Michael Plassmeyer and cash considerations....Prior to joining the Giants, he was with Philadelphia’s Triple-A affiliate in Lehigh Valley where he slashed .365/.504/.500 with five doubles and three homers in 33 games...had 28 walks to 18 strikeouts....Appeared in 66 games for SF (48 starts: 43 at catcher and five as the DH) and hit .259 with seven doubles, three homers and 21 RBI....Posted a 3.76 catchers ERA over 390.2 innings behind the dish....Made two appearances as a pitcher (July 3 vs. CWS and August 26 at MIN)...allowed three runs over 2.0 innings....Recorded a career-high three hits and matched his career-high with four RBI on June 21 at Atlanta....Hit .276 off right-handers and was 13-for-his-last-28 (.464) over his final 13 contests....Finished the season hitting .433 (13-for-30) with two homers and six RBI over his last 12 games.`

Began season at BAL’s alternate training site; was assigned to Norfolk (AAA) at the start of the minor league season...Had his contract selected on 5/31 and spent the remainder of the season with BAL...Slugged his first career grand slam on 6/12 at TB (Rich Hill), also recording a career-high four RBI...Appeared in 44 games (39 starts) at catcher, throwing out 11 of 29 attempted base stealers (37.9%).

2020

Spent the season at the Alternate Training Site at Double-A Bowie...Appeared in 12 Spring Training games for the O's, hitting .250 (4-for-16).

2019

Made his 2019 Orioles debut on 4/28 at MIN after being recalled earlier in the day... Hit his first home run of the season on 9/24 at TOR; his first since 9/21/18 at NYY... Recorded his first multi-run game of the season on 9/19 vs. TOR; the fourth of his career... Threw out 3-of-17 (17.6%) potential base stealers while with the Orioles... Recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on 9/3 after the Tides season ended, his third stint with the big league club... In 66 games in the minors (62 G with Norfolk and 4 G with Bowie), he hit .266/.355/.341 (57-for-214) with seven doubles, three home runs, 28 runs, 29 RBI, and 28 walks... Hit .348 (23-for-66) in 20 games in August for the Tides... Threw out 17-of-49 (34.7%) potential base stealers while with Norfolk.
