Roenis in 2022 made his first Major League appearance since 2019, appearing in seven games in relief for Seattle... Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Tacoma, going 3-3 with a 5.12 ERA (37 ER/65.0 IP) in 37 games (nine starts)...Had his contract purchased as a replacement player, May 16 and tossed 1.0 inning in relief that night in Toronto... Was designated for assignment, June 20 and outrighted to Tacoma, June 23, where he spent the remainder of the season.

Spent the season on the Injured List recovering from Tommy John Surgery...began spring training with Seattle, tossing three scoreless outings before having his season cut short due to injury.

Spent season on the 60-day Injured List with a left flexor strain, July 13-Sept. 28... outrighted by the Nationals and elected free agency on Oct. 11.

Appeared in just four games for Washington...His arrival was hampered by a strained right hamstring suffered his first outing with the Nationals, Aug. 2 at Arizona...Joined the Nationals at the Trade Deadline after going 4-2 with 14 saves, a 4.40 ERA (23 ER/47.0 IP) and 45 strikeouts in 44 games for the Seattle Mariners...His 14 saves ranked tenth in the American League at the time of the trade...With the Mariners, he worked more than 1.0 inning on seven occasions and at least 2.0 innings in five outings...When pitching more than one inning, opposing batters went 5-for-49 (.102) with one double and one home run...He struck out 20 batters, issued five walks and posted a 0.68 WHIP in those seven outings (14.2 IP).

Reinstated from the 60-day DL and optioned to Pawtucket on 8/17...Made 3 more starts for the PawSox. Recalled by BOS on 9/1 and made his lone ML appearance on 9/4 vs. TOR (0.1 IP, BB, SO).

Pitched in 3 games (1 start) over 3 ML stints in his 1st season with the Red Sox.
