After signing a one-year Major League deal with MIL on Nov. 29, 2021, he began the 2022 campaign on the restricted list and was suspended 80 games after testing positive for the performance-enhancing substance Clomiphene....Sent on a rehab assignment with Biloxi (AA) on June 17 and hit .435 (10-for-23) in six games before being transferred to Nashville (AAA) on June 24…played in five games for NAS before being reinstated by MIL from the restricted list on July 3 for the Brewers’ 81st game of the season....Played in a total of eight games for MIL, going 4-for-18 (.222) at the dish with two 2B, one RBI, three BB and seven SO....Designated for assignment on Aug. 3 before being outrighted to NAS on Aug. 5, where he slashed .348/.390/.565 with 12 XBH (eight 2B, four HR), 14 RBI and 19 runs scored across 25 games played....Overall, Severino hit safely in 28 of his 37 games played with NAS, including 13 multi-hit efforts, and the club went 25-12 in games in which he appeared.
