Aft er pitching majority of season in minors, made Major League debut with Diamondbacks Aug. 27 vs. Cincinnati ...Tossed 5.2 innings in relief and allowed three runs (two earned)...Marked longest relief outi ng in a big league debut since Detroit's Kyle Lobstein (5.2 IP) Aug. 23, 2014 at Minnesota (Game 2)...Outi ng was also fourth-longest relief appearance in Diamondbacks history...Began season with Adv.-A Tampa and earned four victories in 10 starts while recording 56 strikeouts, which led Florida State League at ti me of promoti on to Double-A Trenton...Went 5-1 with a 3.02 ERA (56.2 IP - 19 ER) in nine starts for Thunder before being promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre July 25...Made one start for RailRiders and allowed one run in fi ve innings pitched July 26 vs. Buff alo before being traded to Arizona July 31 and assigned to Double-A Mobile...After four starts with BayBears, was promoted to Majors Aug. 25... 2015

Began the season on the minor league disabled list recovering from "Tommy John" surgery (performed on 4/25/14)...started a rehab assignment on 6/22 and combined to make two starts with the GCL Yankees 1 and GCL Yankees 2, going 0-1 with a 2.79 ERA (9.2IP, 10H, 3ER, 0BB, 14K, 1HR)...Was returned from rehab and reinstated from the minor league disabled list on 7/3...spent the remainder of the season with Single-A Tampa, going 3-7 with a 7.05 ERA (44.2IP, 35ER, 10BB, 31K) in 11 starts...Attended spring training with the Yankees as a non-roster invitee, but did not pitch...Was selected to the Yankees' 40-man roster on 11/4/15.

2014

Spent the entire season on the minor league disabled list...underwent "Tommy John" surgery on 4/25, performed by Yankees Head Team Physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital...Made one spring training relief appearance with the Yankees, tossing 1.0 scoreless inning (1H, 1K)...Was signed by the Yankees as a minor league free agent on 12/5/14.

2013

Went 4-2 with two saves and a 3.41 ERA (87.0IP, 33ER) in 26 games (19 starts) with Single-A Charleston. Went 1-2 with a 4.70 ERA (44.0IP, 23ER) in 13 appearances (11 starts) before the All-Star 
break… after the break, went 3-0 with two saves and a 2.09 ERA (43.0IP, 10ER) in 13 
games (eight starts)… was 1-0 with a 1.44 ERA (25.0IP, 4ER) in six July starts. Went 3-0 with two saves over his final six appearances (one start) beginning on 7/31, allowing 5ER in 15.0IP over the span (14H, 9K)… five of those six appearances were scoreless, with all 5ER coming on 8/5 at Savannah. Following the season, pitched in one game for Cardenales de Lara of the Venezuelan Winter League, allowing 3H and 1ER in 1.0IP (1HR, 1K). Was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster on 11/20/13.

2012

Made five starts with Single-A Charleston, going 3-0 with a 4.01 ERA (24.2IP, 11ER).

2011

Was 5-5 with a 2.32 ERA (81.1IP, 21ER) in 14GS with short-season Single-A Everett… struck out a team-high 85 batters with only 13BB… led the Northwest League in ERA and strikeouts, was second in opp. BA (.214) and had the third-lowest BB/9.0IP ratio (1.44). Was named to the Northwest League All-Star team and was tabbed as the league's top right-handed prospect (third overall) by Baseball America. Following the season, pitched for the Cardenales de Lara of the Venezuelan Winter League, going 3-1 with a 3.26 ERA (30.1IP, 11ER) in 16 appearances (two starts).

2010

Was named the Seattle Mariners' minor league "Pitcher of the Year" after going 8-2 with a 3.16 ERA (57.0IP, 20ER) in 13 appearances (12 starts) with the VSL Mariners. Led the league in wins and ranked second in strikeouts (59) en route to being named to the Venezuelan Summer League's All-Star team as the top right-handed pitcher. Also participated in the Mariners Instructional League in Peoria and played for Lara in the Venezuelan Winter League, going 0-1 with a 3.68 ERA (7.1IP, 3ER) in six games.

2009

Made his professional debut, going 1-3 with one save and a 5.73 ERA (33.0IP, 21ER) 
in 13 appearances (four starts) with the VSL Mariners.
