Full name is Francisley Trueba Bueno...defected from Cuba in 2004...pitched for two seasons in the Dominican Winter League before signing with the Braves. A member of Cuba¡¦s pre-Olympic roster in 2004 ... pitched six seasons in the Serie Nacional with Industriales and went 26-22 with an ERA of 3.46 in 98 appearances ... teammate of current Rays' shortstop Yunel Escobar with Industriales.

2013

Francisley opened the season in Omaha and had two stints in Kansas City, including all of September ... compiled 8.1 scoreless innings at the Major League level. Earned relief win August 9 vs. Boston, tossing 2.1 innings ... both of his Major League wins have come against the Red Sox. Allowed just two runs in 11 second-half appearances with Omaha, posting an 0.92 ERA over 19.2 innings.

2012

Francisley, after working just 1 game in his Major League career entering 2012, made 18 relief appearances for KC after coming to camp as a non-roster invitee...allowed just 1 earned run in his final 15 outings, covering 12.2 innings, for a 0.71 ERA...Bueno tossed 1.2 frames onAugust 25 atBoston and wound up with his first big league win, allowing a hit while recording two strikeouts.

2011

Made 15 starts for Monterrey in the Mexican Summer League, which included a 6-2 record and a 3.36 ERA in 10 starts at home and a 5-3 mark with a 3.27 ERA in nine starts following the All-Star break...Following the regular season, competed for Licey in the Dominican Winter League and was 4-2 with a 1.90 ERA in 11 games (7 starts)...allowed just 28 hits in 42.2 innings for a .179 average against.

2008

Had his contract purchased from Richmond (AAA) on 8/4 and made his MLB debut on 8/13 vs. CHI, where he went 2.1 IP and gave up two runs on five hits. Returned to Richmond on 8/14...In his debut on 8/13, he was ejected and later suspended three games for throwing at A. Soriano in the top of the fifth inning. He faces the suspension upon his return to the Major Leagues, which is also when his appeal will be heard...In 19 games at Richmond (14 starts), was 2-6 with a 5.23 ERA (84.1 IP/49 ER). As a reliever: 0-1, 4.02 ERA in five games. As a starter: 2-5, 5.50 ERA. Lefties hit .324 and righties hit .283 off him...He has an 8-19 career Minor League record in 61 games (50 starts) with a 4.04 ERA in three pro seasons...Was on the Richmond DL from 6/3-28/08 with left bicep tendinitis.

2007

Opened the year with Double-A Mississippi and went 4-6 with a 3.67 ERA in 22 appearances (19 starts)...Had five starts with Mississippi in which he worked at least five innings and did not allow an earned run...Had a 2-3 record both at home and on the road with the M-Braves, but had a 1.38 ERA at Trustmark Park and a 6.17 ERA on the road...Ranked ninth in the Southern League with a 3.67 ERA...Among Braves' farmhands, he ranked tied for seventh with 132.0 IP, eighth with 96 K and tied for ninth with a 3.55 starter's ERA...Allowed one earned run in three relief appearances with Mississippi covering 11.0 IP (0.82 ERA)...Lefthanded hitters hit .325 and right-handed hitters hit .280 off of him at Double-A...Promoted to Richmond (AAA) on 8/22 and made three starts for the R-Braves, including a 6.2 IP game on 8/28 vs. CHR with one earned run allowed and a 7.1 IP game on 9/2 vs. NOR when he allowed just two earned runs...Struck out eight in 5.1 innings in his Triple-A debut vs. DUR on 8/23...Went 0-0 with a 3.27 ERA and 12 K in 11.0 IP in the postseason...Tossed six no-hit innings before leaving due to a high pitch count in Governors' Cup Finals Game 3 vs. Durham...Played winter ball in '07-'08 with Gigantes in the Dominican League, going 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in nine games (seven starts).
