Snapped season-opening 0-for-17 with ninth-inning single, April 6 @DET…Also began the 2013 season 0-for-his-first-17. Set a career-high with four hits, going 4-for-5 with a 2B, R, 2RBI, September 10 @BOS. Collected two hits in the third-inning on September 10 @BOS, becoming the third O's hitter in 2014 to accomplish the feat. Tripled for the first time since September 22, 2012, going 2-for-5, 3B, HR, 2R, and tied his season-high with 3RBI, August 31 vs.MIN…Was one total base shy of his career-high (eight; last on September 25, 2013 vs. TOR). Played in all seven postseason games, batting .286/.400/.429 with a home run and four RBIs in 25 plate appearances. Homered in Game 4 of the ALCS, accounting for the only Orioles run with a solo shot off of Jason Vargas in the third inning.
