Made Toronto's Opening Day roster and combined to go 3-5 with a 6.79 ERA in 12 games (10 starts) last season with the Blue Jays and Pirates...Traded twice in 2010; acquired by Toronto from Oakland on Feb. 6 for a player to be named later or cash consideration and again on June 1, when he was dealt to Pittsburgh for Ronald Uviendo (RHP)...Opened the season with Toronto, going 3-4 with a 6.45 ERA (32 ER/44.2 IP) in nine starts before getting traded to Pittsburgh on June 1...in his three victories, posted a 0.89 ERA (2 ER/20.1 IP) and a .149 opponents' batting average (10-for-67)...Went 0-1 with an 8.38 ERA (9 ER/9.2 IP) in three games (one start) with the Pirates before getting designated for assignment on June 24 and outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis on July 1...was 0-2 with a 7.96 ERA in 11 games (five starts) at Triple-A

Began and finished the season in the A's starting rotation, but spent most of the year at Sacramento (AAA)... Was 2-4 with a 7.16 ERA in 13 games, nine starts, over three stints with Oakland and 8-6 with a 4.94 ERA in 21 starts with Sacramento... Allowed a .365 batting average with Oakland, which was the highest mark of his five seasons in the majors... Opponents now have a .300 (329 for 1098) batting average against him in his career... Yielded a .373 (19 for 51) mark against left-handed hitters and .362 (51 for 141) against right-handers... Had two stints with Arizona but spent most of the season on the disabled list at Triple-A Tucson...began the year in the Sidewinders starting rotation and went 1-0 with a 0.82 ERA in two starts before he was recalled by Arizona on April 20...made two relief appearances and allowed three runs in 0.1 innings on April 24 against San Diego before tossing a scoreless inning on April 30 at Los Angeles (NL)...was optioned back to Tucson on May 2 and made one relief appearance and one start before he was placed on the disabled list on May 11 with a strained left middle finger...was reinstated from the DL on August 7 and was sent to Single-A Visalia for two starts before returning to Tucson on August 16...made three more appearances, including two starts, with the Sidewinders before he returned to Arizona on September 1...was 1-0 with a 12.27 ERA over three games, one start, after his September call-up...was 1-0 with a 14.40 ERA in five games, one start, for the Diamondbacks overall... opponents hit .364, including .455 with runners in scoring position...lefties were 3 for 6 (.500) and right-handers hit .313 (5 for 16)...his one start with Arizona came on September 1 against Colorado, a no decision in a 13-7 win (2.2 ip, 5 h, 5 r, 5 er, 2 bb, 2 so)...picked up his lone win on September 8 against St. Louis when he retired the only batter he faced in the fourth inning with Arizona trailing 7-4...the D-backs then scored five times in the fourth for the win...was 1-0 with a 1.95 ERA in seven games, five starts, at Tucson and did not allow an earned run in two starts (5.0 ip) at Visalia for a 1.65 ERA overall in the minors...allowed a .242 opponents batting average, including .222 (6 for 27) against left-handers and .247 (24 for 97) against right-handers...opponents hit .194 with runners in scoring position...did not allow a home run in 32.2 innings...tossed 5.0 shutout innings for the win in his first start for Tucson on April 9 at Salt Lake and then allowed one run in 6.0 innings in a no decision against Colorado Springs on April 14 before he was promoted to Arizona...posted a 6.35 ERA in two games, one start, following his option before going on the DL...tossed 5.0 shutout innings in a start on August 19 against Colorado Springs and had a 0.82 ERA in three games, two starts, at Tucson in August before returning to Arizona...pitched for Mexicali in the Mexican-Pacific Winter League and was 4-2 with a 2.51 ERA in 14 games, nine starts...struck out 69 and walked just 15 in 61.0 innings...tied for third in the MPWL in strikeouts.
