stood at 3.04 (68.0 IP/23 ER) and opponents were batting .258 (65x252) with seven
home runs. After June 1, went 6-11 with a 5.14 ERA (133.0/76)...Had two complete games, tying single-season high (2009). They came in a span of
three starts, on June 29 (at Oakland) and July 9 (vs. Houston)...On July 31 at Atlanta, a 3-1 win, allowed 12 of Atlanta's 13 hits, but surrendered just

and tied for fifth in games started (115). He owns the Franchise record for wins by a right-handed
pitcher, earning his 50th career win on July 21 and surpassing A.J. Burnett's previous record of
49 ... Over his career, has issued 2.12 walks per nine innings to mark the lowest in Marlins history. Ranks
third in strikeouts per nine at 8.02 ... Tossed his fourth career complete game on April 17 at Philadelphia. Allowed just five hits and
one run with three walks and four strikeouts ... Ended the first half with a season-best four game win streak, earning wins in his final four starts.
The win streak is one short of a career-high, done from June 10 to July 12, 2008 ... Paired with Josh Johnson to become the only two pitchers in Club history to record at least nine

2008, he owns the second-most 10+ strikeout games in the National League (10), behind Tim
Lincecum (17)...On September 30 at Atlanta, struck out a club record 16 Braves. He struck out the side in the 3-
5 innings, giving him nine straight strikeouts, which was one shy of the ML record. He became just
the fourth pitcher ever and third in the modern era to strike out nine straight, joining Tom Seaver
(10, 1970), Jake Peavy (9, 2007) and Mickey Welch (9, 1884). The 16 strikeouts were the most by
any pitcher at the Major League level since Johan Santana struck out 17 Texas Rangers on
August 19, 2007. The Marlins previous record for strikeouts in a game was 14, done twice by A.J.
Burnett (July 26, 2005 vs. Milwaukee and August 29, 2006 vs. Colorado)...Tossed his third career complete game, and second of the season, on August 18 at Minute Maid
Park. He surrendered two runs on three hits with no walks and 10 strikeouts...Threw 7.0 innings on September 19 at Cincinnati, surrendering two runs on four hits with one walk
and 10 strikeouts. The 7.0 innings broke a Major League record stretch of 29 consecutive games
where a Marlins starter failed to pitch at least 7.0 innings. That start marked the seventh time
over the last two seasons that Nolasco had double-digit strikeouts and one or fewer walks, tying
Tim Lincecum for the most such games since the start of 2008...Held the Pittsburgh Pirates scoreless over 8.0 innings, allowing only three hits with two walks while
striking out 12 batters on July 5 at Sun Life Stadium. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, only
two other pitchers in Marlins history have recorded at least 12 strikeouts in a scoreless outing of
at least eight innings: Brad Penny in 2001 and Dontrelle Willis in 2006. Owns nine 10+ strikeout
games in his career, all coming in the last two seasons...He tossed a 5.0 inning complete game on June 18 against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
The only hit he allowed was a first inning home run by Kevin Youkilis. It marked the sixth complete
