St. Petersburg on September 16. On the 2nd day of workouts, first open to the media, he was
rushed to the emergency room at St.Anthony's Hospital where he was treated for cramps and

Was considered the number one overall prospect in the 2002 draft by Baseball America.
Is the fourth Chesapeake,Virginia area high school product to be taken in the first round of the
draft since 1997 joining 3B Michael Cuddyer (Twins, 9th player selected in 1997), P John Curtice
(Red Sox, 17th player selected in 1997) and 3B David Wright (Mets, 38th player selected in 2001).
B.J. was selected as the top 17-year-old prospect in the nation in 2002 by Baseball America...His
