During Spring Training was signed by the Reds to a minor league contract...played in 38 games with Louisville (AAA), where he hit .225 with four RBI and five stolen bases...began the season with Louisville, but appeared in 20 games with Chattanooga (AA) from April 11 to May 3...batted .297 with two home runs and 11 RBI at Double-A...was transferred back to Louisville on May 4... released by Reds organization on June 15...Played for La Guaira in the Venezuelan Winter League...batted .350 (48x137) with three home runs and 22 RBI...recorded four stolen bases in 35 games...hit .358 (24x67) with five RBI in 15 playoff games with Mazatlan in the Mexican Winter League.
