He and his wife, Eleanor, have a daughter, Hannah

Lakeland (ID) High School, where he was named the Most
Valuable Player in baseball while graduating fourth in his

Began season with New York Yankees and was the Opening Day starter at first base on 4/2 vs. Tampa Bay.
