Did not appear in a game for the Dodgers while still recovering from June 20, 2007 right shoulder surgery that repaired a torn labrum and frayed biceps tendon...began the season on the 15-day disabled list...Went on rehabilitation assignments on three different occasions in hopes of returning to a Major League mound...Season officially ended after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder on Sept. 10...the 60-minute procedure to clean up scar tissue was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache...it was also found that the labrum that was repaired in 2007 was completely healed...In four starts overall with Single-A Inland Empire, posted no record and a 3.48 ERA... in five starts overall with Triple-A Las Vegas, went 0-1 with a 7.30 ERA...last appeared on the mound on Aug. 29 vs. Colorado Springs, tossing 1.0 scoreless inning...Was transferred to the 60-day disabled list on May 20, creating a 40-man roster spot for Danny Ardoin, whose contract was purchased from Triple-A Las Vegas that day to replace the injured Gary Bennett
2007
Won his first start in a Dodger uniform, beating the Brewers in Milwaukee on April 4...gave up just one run and struck out five in 5.0 innings...homered off Colorado's Jeff Francis in the Dodgers' home opener on April 9, the seventh home run of his career...was placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 17 after just three starts with inflammation in his right shoulder...made one rehab start on May 30 at Single-A Inland Empire and pitched 6.0 scoreless innings...allowed just two hits, and struck out seven batters...missed 45 games before returning to the mound on June 5 at San Diego and had a dominant outing, giving up one hit and no runs in 6.0 innings of work...picked up the no-decision in a game the Dodgers went on to lose...was placed on the disabled list for the second time on June 18 and had season-ending right shoulder surgery on June 20 to remove scar tissue from the bursa sac, repair a frayed biceps tendon, and repair a torn labrum...surgery was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

Began season with Atlanta, making ML debut in relief April 28 at Los Angeles...tossed 3.0 innings of relief May 5 at Philadelphia before being optioned to Richmond May 17...remained at Richmond until Sept. 1 recall...led International League with 2.25 ERA...named Richmond's Player of Month for July after going 4-2 with 1.32 ERA (6er, 41.0ip) in 6 starts...went 2-2 with 5.14 ERA (12er, 21.0ip) in 7 games (2 starts) after his recall to Atlanta...tossed 8.0-scoreless innings and picked up 1st big league win in 1st ML start Sept. 3 vs. Chicago...was 1-1 with 3.21 ERA (4er, 11.0ip) in 2 starts with Atlanta while going 1-1 with 7.71 ERA (12er, 14.0ip) in 7 ML relief appearances.

Spent entire season with double-A Greenville...ranked 3rd in Southern League with 131 strikeouts, while his 8.4 strikeouts-per 9.0 innings ratio was 2nd best among league's starters...won his only playoff start Sept. 5 at Carolina, allowing 1 earned run in 7.2 innings.

Ranked 3rd on single-A Durham's staff with 22 starts while leading rotation with 8.5 strikeout-per 9.0 inning ratio.

Split season between rookie level Pulaski and single-A Macon...went combined 3-7 with 4.01 ERA in 18 starts...won Pitcher of Month honors in June...fanned 89 batters in 83.0 innings.
