Los Angeles Dodgers: Baseball Operations Roundtable
The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting a virtual event for those interested in working in the Baseball Operations department. This event provides an opportunity for prospective candidates to present on their experiences with coaching, scouting, or researching baseball. There will also be opportunities to interact with current Dodgers employees to learn about what a typical day looks like for our staff, as well as upcoming job opportunities with the organization. Prospective candidates may either (1) register to attend the event and/or (2) enter a contest to win the opportunity to present (either individually or as part of the group featured in the video) to a panel of Dodgers Baseball Operations staff at the event. We encourage candidates with the following experience to participate:

Discussion Categories:
- Coaching & Skill Development: Present creative solutions you’ve implemented as a coach and the corresponding results
- Baseball Analysis: Strategy, Statistics or Biomechanics: Present research that you’ve completed in one of these analytical categories
- Player Evaluation: Present on the scouting processes and/or tools you have used to evaluate players
Registration & Contest Requirements:
Candidates should complete the requirements based on their preferred role in the event:
- Attendee: Complete this form and submit a (1) resume and (2) statement describing your interest in a career in one of the above-referenced Discussion Categories and your qualifications (max 250 words).
- Attendee + Presenter: Complete this form and the contest requirements, which include submitting a (1) resume, (2) statement describing your interest in a career in one of the above-referenced Discussion Categories and your qualifications (max 250 words), and (3) a 5–10 minutes (max) video presentation about one (1) of the above-referenced Discussion Categories. Presentations can be done individually or in groups of up to five (5) people. Groups can be comprised of individuals from the same university or program. One (1) presentation from each Discussion Category will be selected to present live at the event.
