Canceled Game and Suspended Game Policy
A regular season home game is considered an “Official Game” after 5 innings, or 4½ innings if the Dodgers are ahead, whether a winner is declared and/or the game is canceled or suspended. A “Split Doubleheader” means two games played on one date, with a separate ticket required for admission to each game. A “Combined (or Traditional) Doubleheader” means two games played on one date, with only one ticket required for admission to both games.
A regulation game that is not played or is canceled before it is designated an Official Game shall be considered a "Canceled Game."* If a Canceled Game is rescheduled on a date that does not have a previously scheduled game or is rescheduled to become part of a Split Doubleheader, the ticket for the Canceled Game may only be used for admittance to such rescheduled game. In the event a Canceled Game is not rescheduled, the ticket for the Canceled Game may be exchanged during the 2024 season for an individual ticket of equal or lesser face value for a future 2024 regular season game (subject to ticket availability).
A regulation game that is suspended before it is designated an Official Game shall be considered a “Suspended Game.” If a Suspended Game is rescheduled on a date that does not have a previously scheduled game or is rescheduled as one game of a Split Doubleheader, the ticket for the Suspended Game may only be used for admittance to such rescheduled game. In the event a Suspended Game is not rescheduled, the ticket for the Suspended Game may be exchanged during the 2024 season for an individual ticket of equal or lesser face value for a future 2024 regular season game (subject to ticket availability).
If a Canceled Game or Suspended Game is rescheduled as one game of a Combined (Traditional) Doubleheader, the ticket for the Canceled or Suspended game will not be valid for entry to that Combined (Traditional) Doubleheader, but may be exchanged during the 2024 season for an individual ticket of equal or lesser face value for a future 2024 regular season game (subject to ticket availability).
If a game is canceled or suspended after it has been designated an Official Game, the ticket for such Official Game shall have no refund or exchange value. If an Official Game is suspended and continued at a later date as part of a Combined (Traditional) Doubleheader, the ticket for the Official Game will not be honored for admission and will have no refund or exchange value.
*Opening Day exception: The first regular season home game of each season is considered “Opening Day” and is not eligible to be classified as a Canceled Game under this policy. Tickets purchased for an Opening Day game that is canceled will be honored for admittance to the first regular season home game that is played after the date of the canceled Opening Day game, and that game will be considered the new Opening Day game. Tickets purchased for a game before it is designated as the new Opening Day game will no longer be honored for that game and may be exchanged during the 2024 season for either (i) an individual ticket of equal or lesser face value for a future 2024 regular season game (subject to ticket availability) or (ii) a refund equal to the purchase price.
