Vice President, Facilities
David Edford is entering his 12th season with the Dodgers, having joined the organization in 2014 as the Director, Facilities.
In this role David oversees the engineering operations and maintenance of Dodger Stadium, which includes the staff and contractors that, among other responsibilities, service the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire and life safety systems. He also manages our Stadium Services and Logistics department, and ABM Facility (cleaning) Services.
Previously, David worked in Los Angeles at STAPLES Center (now Crypto.com Arena) as a Venue Operations Manager for seven years, overseeing event operations and concert set-ups, including multiple Grammy Awards and X Games, and managing the in-game maintenance and playing surfaces for the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks. David also managed conversion operations, which included the historic “perfect storm” of six playoff events in four days in May 2012, while being recognized in Sports Illustrated and other national media outlets during that span.
David has served in numerous roles in arenas and amphitheaters with the Palace of Auburn Hills (Auburn Hills, Michigan), Pepsi Center (now Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado), Mile High Stadium (Denver, Colorado), and with dozens more professional theaters and touring artists as a Technical Director, Master Carpenter, Lighting and Sound Designer and Engineer. All skills that have come into play working with promoters utilizing Dodger Stadium as a concert venue.
