Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Dan joined the Legal Department in February 2017. He transitioned to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2022, and then to Senior Vice President and General Counsel on January 1, 2023. As General Counsel, Dan oversees all aspects of the organization’s legal affairs.
Before joining the Dodgers, Dan worked at the law firm of Latham & Watkins for 10 years, and then served as a founding partner of Dal Soglio & Martens for 15 years. While in private practice, Dan represented corporate clients in a wide variety of complex and high profile matters. Between 2010 and 2017, Dan served as outside counsel for the Dodgers in many different litigation matters.
A native of central Iowa, Dan received his professional education at the University of Iowa, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with Honors in 1991, and receiving High Honors and Special Distinction with his Juris Doctorate in 1994. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Manhattan Beach, California.
