Dodgers acquire Connor Brogdon

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired right-handed pitcher Connor Brogdon from the Philadelphia Phillies for minor league left-handed pitcher Benony Robles.

Brogdon, 29, was designated for assignment on April 2. He made three appearances, allowing six runs in 2.0 innings for the Phillies this year. He was in his fifth season with Philadelphia (2020-24) and was a combined 10-8 with a 3.88 ERA in 142 games (two starts). He fanned 146 batters in 144 innings while limiting hitters to a .235 batting average against. He was drafted by the Phillies in 2017 in the 10th round of the First Year Player Draft out of Lewis-Clark State.

Robles, 23, went 4-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 33 games for High-A Great Lakes last season. In five minor league campaigns, he was a combined 13-16 with a 4.67 ERA and 277 strikeouts in 250.2 innings. He was signed by the Dodgers on July 3, 2017.
