LOS ANGELES -- Julio Urias pitched only four innings in the regular season, but he found himself in a huge spot as the last man standing in the Dodgers' bullpen late Tuesday night in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series at Dodger Stadium.

Urias pitched a scoreless 13th inning in a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Brewers to even the best-of-seven series. Urias retired NL MVP Award-favorite Christian Yelich for the first out in the 13th before allowing a single to Ryan Braun. But Urias got Jesus Aguilar to fly out to center field and struck out Mike Moustakas looking to end the inning.
Cody Bellinger's hit scored Manny Machado from second in the bottom of the 13th to win it.
"It was hard to watch everybody walk out of the bullpen and be the last one," Urias said through the team's interpreter. "But it was kind of motivating to watch everyone do their job and I was able to do mine, and when we got the run it all worked out."
Urias made only three appearances in the regular season following his recovery from left shoulder capsule surgery last year. When he learned he made the NLCS roster, he had not pitched in a big league game since Sept. 30; in fact, he was left off the roster for the NL Division Series against the Braves.
He allowed two hits and one run in a 6-5 loss in Game 1, and the solo homer Urias allowed to Aguilar in the seventh inning proved to be the game-winner. But on Tuesday, Urias stepped up.
"Everything is working out," Urias said. "Things are happening."
