Zach Britton reflected on his 12 years with the Orioles organization in a farewell letter to fans
Tuesday night, the Yankees got Zach Britton from the Orioles. The All-Star closer will join a bullpen already full of pitchers with extensive closing experience
While Britton is no doubt looking forward to the excitement of a playoff race in New York, there's obviously some sadness in leaving behind the only organization he has called home as a professional pitcher -- not to mention the unfortunate cost-of-living difference between Baltimore and New York City. On Wednesday, he took to Twitter to reflect on his time with the Orioles and thank the fans:

With the Yankees visiting Baltimore Aug. 24-26, Orioles fans won't have to wait long for an opportunity to return the favor and thank Britton for his years with the team.
