Taking some batting practice before Tuesday's 10-8 victory against the Mets, Darvish not only failed to send a barrage of balls to the upper deck like Aaron Judge , he could barely get the ball out of the infield.
That led to joy ... then anger:
Just because Darvish can't hit in batting practice doesn't mean he can't in games. The hurler may not be the next great two-way player, but he's 3-for-14 in his career. Because baseball is weird, that includes a home run, too:
