Yasiel Puig celebrated a homer by giving Joc Pederson's brother, Champ, a hug at home plate
Monday's Dodgers-Giants series opener at AT&T Park featured a lengthy rain delay that pushed the first inning back a few hours after the first out of the game was recorded. But once things got going, it presented an opportunity for a pretty great scene at home plate in the fifth inning.
Facing
Pederson's family hails from nearby Palo Alto, so the Dodgers coming to town makes this situation possible. Champ served as the bat boy for the Dodgers' visit to San Francisco last October, too:
