The Yankees spent their Thursday night taking in the U.S. Women's Soccer match
Spring Training isn't just about getting into physical shape. It's also a time to get together as a team, and get ready for a long season -- practices and games are important, after all, but there's still plenty of room for grand champion hog-buying or Dinosaur World vacations.
And what better way to spend that time than by watching a team that literally hasn't lost in 2016? Conveniently enough, the U.S. Women's National Team happened to be in Tampa on Thursday night to take on England, so the Yankees made the short drive from their Spring Training complex to take in the match:

We even managed to get one of the greatest meetings of Alexes the world has ever seen:

The USWNT was nice enough to play along, as if the reigning World Cup champs needed any extra help:

The U.S. won, 1-0, because that's just what they do. A-Rod, meanwhile, was so excited for the night to come that he hit a home run in his first spring at-bat.
Coincidence? You tell us.
