Helmets are hard. They're intended to protect hitters' heads at all times, and for the most part they do. But in the aftermath of the Yankees' 6-5 walk-off win over the Rays on Thursday night in the Bronx, a helmet led to an unfortunate circumstance for
Specifically, as captured vividly in the clip atop this post, a moment of abject revelry resulted in a chipped tooth for Aaron Judge, as somebody's helmet clipped his open mouth.
Ouch.
Well after the game was over and everybody left for the night, the search was on:
