Watch one Yankees fan go from very confident to very sad as Rafael Devers hits a game-tying homer
In the top of the ninth inning of Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Yankees fans were feeling pretty good.
One Yankees fan in particular was feeling very good. So good, in fact, that he decided to start recording from his seat in the right-field bleachers at Yankee Stadium -- all the better to capture the celebration when his team nailed down the win. Except, well:

Devers deposited a 102.8-mph fastball into the left-field bullpen for a game-tying homer, while our intrepid hero could only watch in slack-jawed horror. Boston eventually went on to win in the 10th, 4-3, offering yet another reminder of one of baseball's immutable rules: Never celebrate too early.
